Cambridge Business Online Centre Celebrates Partnership with Innovate UK in Driving Talent and Skills

Cambridge Business Online Centre is thrilled to have been invited to celebrate with Innovate UK as partners, joining a community of public and private organisations at the forefront of driving talent and skills through the Talent & Skills Connect initiative.

On September 12th, 2024, Digital Catapult buzzed with energy as we celebrated the inaugural Innovate UK Talent & Skills Connect event alongside esteemed partners. This landmark gathering brought together industry-leading organisations committed to enhancing the UK’s talent and skills ecosystem.

Indro Mukerjee, CEO of Innovate UK, set the tone with a compelling message about the critical role of skilled talent in driving economic growth, emphasising that every voice counts in shaping the future of the talent and skills landscape. The event served as a platform to consolidate our shared commitment, focusing on aligning priorities and developing actionable plans that empower businesses to access the right skills when they need them. Partners were encouraged to share insights, learn from one another, and create a shared vision for driving innovation across the UK.

Cambridge Business Online Centre is proud to be part of this dynamic community of innovative organisations, contributing to the conversation about the skills that propel the UK’s economy forward. As a partner in this initiative, we are committed to engaging a wide array of stakeholders to enrich the talent pipeline and drive prosperity.

Rafmary Baker expressed her excitement about being part of this vibrant network, stating, “Being part of a community of innovative organisations, each at the forefront of what’s possible in their respective areas, and having the privilege to contribute ideas that drive prosperity and build a brighter, better future for our nation fills me with excitement. Thank you, Innovate UK, for the invitation to celebrate together as your partners. If I had to sum up this day in one phrase, it would be the African proverb: ‘If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.’”
